It's cold at the skate park!

Brrrr!  It was cold at the skate park last week.
But still no snow :(
And I can't pass up fresh air when the sun is shining!
Since the ski hill isn't much fun without snow...
I bundled us all up for a quick visit to the skate park!
Rolli and Vivian.
Ruling the lone concrete on their two wheels.

Check out their skills!
Rolli was getting brave and even rode his bike off the trick island...
he almost bit it...
but still he rode on!

It's all fun and games until we find ourselves in the ER.
Until then,
We ride!

2013 out, 2014 in

Hannah, Marshall,
Colter, Vivian, Rolli
and Bella too.
Wallace Family
2013

2013 marked the start of the Golden Age
as our family became 5 with the arrival of baby Colter.

This year you can find us in our usual spot livin' life and experiencing the moments.
We said "farewell" to 2013 and "welcome!" to 2014 before going to bed on New Year's Eve.

Happy New Year!!
... week late :)

breakfast in bed

Today we experienced a 'first'.
Rolli brought me breakfast in bed!!!
With a smile on his face Rolli said, "Here you go Mom."
"Ah, thanks Buddy!"
Milk (which I don't care for) with a chocolate straw.
That's the sweetest thing that kid has done for me in the morning.
He has NEVER, ever let me peacefully stay in bed before today.

And stay in bed is exactly what I did this am...
With these two snugglers and my glass of breakfast.

I'm secretly hoping that this will happen again.

Happy sunny Sunday :)

2 months

Colter is 2 months and going!
Growing just like his brother and sister did.
His two month stats:  9 lbs and 22 inches tall.
With a head circumference of 14 7/8 inches.
...yes, he is skinny for his age.
Prognosis:  Healthy! (but should gain weight)

We all just love this happy little snuggler :)

Bless you!

Tummy time.

Sweet dreams little man.
Rest up.
'Cause you have lots of growing to do!

Go Fish!

Last night Marshall and I taught Rolli and Viv how to play the Go Fish! card game
that Aunt Janice gave them for Christmas.
Then this morning I came home from my jog to find Marshall playing Go Fish! with the kids
while Colter happily slept in his new swing.
Such a sweet scene :)
(I'm not sure but I may have filmed the video without sound.  Sorry.)

Our Merry Christmas!

I hope that everyone has enjoyed a very merry Christmas!
Ours was rather nice :)
... even though Rolli barfed 4 times on Christmas Eve (yuck!)

This is how we woke up on December 25th.
The magic of Christmas is best viewed through a child's eyes.

Me and ColTee watching the blissful chaos that two 3 year olds opening gifts create.

Rolli with his new watch from Santa.

Vivian informed that it was a special day.
And that meant she could wear my lipstick with her new fairy dress :)

Yes, it was a special day for our fortunate little family.
Filled with lots of love from Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Thank you to everyone who makes us feel spoiled!

Santa!

Santa is coming!
Well, actually he was already in Wenatchee for a short visit...

Santa and Colter Lee.
This little guy didn't even make a peep.
All snuggles in Santa's arms.
Dreaming about his Christmas wish.

The Wallace Family 5 and Santa.
I thought this would be the year that Rolli and Viv warmed up to the Ol' Jolly Man.
Clearly I thought wrong.
Both Rolli and Viv knew just what they wanted to ask Santa for.
We even practiced asking "nicely."

Rolli, "I would like a remote control monster truck.  I mean an airplane.  Please."
Vivian, "I would like a doll.  Please."
Viv  even said that she wanted a remote control baby doll at during one practice.

Then as soon as we laid eyes on Santa the twins lost all confidence.
In fact I had to tell St. Nick what was on their Christmas wish list.
So, once again.  We have a family picture with Santa Claus :)
